Clint Bull (Lighting Design/Stage Management)
Clint Bull is a sophomore at Gonzaga University with a double major in English and Theatre with a concentration in Technical Theatre. His past credits at Gonzaga include stage managing Boone Street Hooligans 11, and designing lights for The Pillowman, the 2017 Boundless Snowflake Showcase, Noche de Arte, Flamenco Fuego, and tick, tick... BOOM!
Madison Taylor (Gallery Choreographer)
Madison Taylor is a senior theatre Theatre Arts major Dance minor. Her previous choreographic experience includes Tick, Tick...BOOM, discovering you(th) (Student Choreo Concert ‘17), and dante (ACDA ‘17). She is grateful to merge her two passions (theatre and dance) and be a part of this new experience on the Gonzaga stage.
Regina Carrere (Scenographer)
Regina is a Senior majoring in English with a writing concentration and double minoring in Criminal Justice and Theater Arts. Previous design credits include tick, tick... BOOM! (Costume), Sex with the Censor (Costume), and The Big Meal (Costume).
Madeline Keckler (Ophelia)
Madeline Keckler is a junior double major in theatre arts and journalism. She has previously been on the GU stage in Constellations (Marianne); Coming Home: A Soldiers' Project (Claire); Sex with the Censor (Woman); Photographs: Mary and Howard (Mary); and Book of Hours (Ensemble). She directed A.I.R. and scenes from New York, and interned last summer with the 2017 Seven Devils Playwrights Conference.
Carson (Hamlet/HoratioPolonius)
Carson is a junior theatre and broadcasting double major with a minor in interdisciplinary arts. He was most recently seen in Constellations in the fall of 2017 and is in the upcoming performance of Next to Normal in April as Henry. He’s directing his own original play, Not Alone, in May. Hamletmachine is one of the most wild experiences he’s ever been a part of.
Jaron Fuglie (Hamlet)
Jaron Fuglie is a junior with a major in theatre and a minor in music. Some of his past credits include: Constellations, Stupid Fucking Bird, Troilus and Cressida, Glengarry Glen Ross, The Book of Hours, and The Big Meal. Jaron Fuglie also sings in the Concert Choir and enjoys the simpler things in life.
Julia Regalbuto (Ophelia's Demons)
Julia Regalbuto is thrilled to return to the GU stage. She is a Junior English major with minors in Theatre, History, and Spanish. Her previous stage credits include Book of Hours (Ensemble) and student works It Ain't Me (Jodi) and To Aylan (C), in addition to dabbling in various technical roles. Julia would like to think her family and mentors back home in California.
Isabel Frohnhofer ( Ophelia’s Demons )
sabel is sophomore English/Theatre major. In high school, she was in The Wizard of Oz (Scarecrow) and a student written production about WWII. Her high school directing credits include Arsenic and Old Lace and a student written production about WWI. Her previous GU credits include the 1 Act “Play Within A Play.” She has worked behind the scenes on other productions at GU and you can also catch her at all the GUTS shows, either onstage or in the booth. She’d like to thank everyone who showed up to Hamletmachine.
Fr. kevin Connell, S.J (King Hamlet)
Fr. kevin Connell, S.J first appeared in the Magnusson, then the Russell,Theatre in A CRY OF PLAYERS in 1979. Since then, he has been a Jesuit for over 30 years and his roles in theaters around the Northwest have included Macbeth, Prometheus, Leontes, Richard II, Henry Higgins, King Arthur, Cyrano de Bergerac, and Salieri. He also appeared in the films THE FAMILY HOLIDAY and KNIGHTS OF BADASSDOM.He currently works at Gonzaga Prep while recovering from a stroke which he suffered after a performance as King Lear in Portland.
Kevin McCarthy (King Claudius)
Kevin McCarthy is a senior at Gonzaga majoring in psychology and minoring in theater. This will be the 15th play of his acting career. Fun facts about Kevin, he likes piña coladas, and getting caught in the rain. He's not a big fan of yoga, and he can confirm he has at least half a brain. He is 6'1", brown hair, with green/blue eyes. Good with animals. In case you were wondering, Kevin does take acting much more seriously than his bios for the playbill. Also, thanks to his mom and dad for supporting him in his endeavors.
Bridget Pretz (Gertrude)
Bridget Pretz is a junior transfer majoring in theatre with a minor in voice, is very excited to be a part of the cast of Hamletmachine. Her previous credits include Coming Home: A Soldier's Project (Karen) at Gonzaga University, and The Imaginary Invalid (Dr. Diaforus), Fefu and Her Friends (Sue), and An Actor’s Nightmare (Ellen Terry) at Seattle University. Bridget would like to thank her family, especially her mom for driving her back and forth to campus.
Sid Al-Thumali (Secret Police)
Sid Al-Thumali is an Arab-American actor and director currently in his senior year at Gonzaga University. Most notable production credits at Gonzaga include; Jungle (Ruth) written by Gonzaga alumni Art Por Díaz, and Troilus and Cressida (Menelaus). He has also been involved in the Spokane community theatre scene most recently in Charles Busch’s Psycho Beach Party (Provoloney). He would like to thank his director, Nathan Patrick Nelson, for giving him the opportunity to portray this challenging character in this highly unique and unforgettable play. And for being an incredible friend and mentor.
Ruby Lynde-Ginal (An Actor Playing Hamlet)
Hamletmachine will be the first time Ruby has performed on the Gonzaga stage. She is trying her luck at acting and is excited to be a part of this show. Ruby’s past has always focused on dance. She used to teach dance lessons to children and choreograph musicals for high schools in the Seattle area.
Molly Gianarelli (An Actor Playing Hamlet)
Molly Gianarelli is a junior studying Public Relations and Journalism. She is originally from Conrad, MT. Her previous stage credits include Tender Offer, and Strangers Don't Drink Coffee.She is a regular performer with GUTS and she enjoys the company of her 11 cats and houseplants.
Erin Sellers (An Actor Playing Hamlet)
Erin Sellers is a freshman Public Relations major with Theatre, English, and Entrepreneurial Leadership minors who is thrilled to be returning to the Gonzaga stage. She has previously appeared in Church and State (Sara) for the Directing 1 Showcase, Art Por Diaz’s Noche del Arte (Young Cucuy), and will be appearing in the Directing 2 Showcase later this spring. She is very grateful for this opportunity and would like to thank her previous directors, her parents, and Jaron and Kevin for pushing her in her involvement in theatre
